Legends 12U Green braving every element possible in Kennewick this weekend, as the first tournament of the season is now behind us. Cold temps of 38 degrees at the lowest point, non-stop windy conditions, and snow! The boys kept control and fought through physical and mental adversity. 

These comeback kids never lost their tenacity when they were down by 6 runs. It was the last inning, with a score 4/10. It didn’t look good. They dug deep and came back with a walk off double giving the final edge to Legends 12U, passing by the Idaho Mustard Seeds and ending the game in a sweet victory of 11/10. 

They came to shake off the rust by playing 5 different teams from Idaho, Oregon, and Washington.  I would say overall you couldn’t ask for a better team building experience as an intro to our upcoming Arizona trip scheduled later this month.
