Legends 12U Black takes 3rd place in the Battle of the Bats tournament in Yakima. They had a rough first two games on Saturday, loosing 8-0 to NW Premiere and 9-6 to the Auburn Bulldogs. 

The bats finally came alive against the Bulldogs. Carson Ackermann went 2-2 with a HR and a double, and also provided some defense with a pick off play at catcher to third place. Jaxon Brittingham also a multi hit game, going 2-3.

On Sunday, they bounced back having a double header, winning 11-1 and 10-2 to the Osprey. 

The highlight of the first game was the great pitching by Mason Bingham and Trent Bublitz giving up 3 hits with 0 walks, throwing only 47 pitches between the pitchers.

Legends 12U Black came back for the last game of the tournament with an all around solid game with the pitchers striking out 9 batters, Jacob Kuala and Kody Edelbrock combining for 7 of the strikeouts.

12U Black will be heading to Redmond, Wa for the Art Wright Memorial day tournament.
